Behind every great event is a visionary who brings it to life, and for Agape Events, that visionary is Sandy Russell. With years of experience in event planning, hospitality, and executive assistance, she turned her passion into a thriving business.
Her journey began in the late 90s, organizing weddings, fundraisers, and even theatrical productions at a local church. Over the years, she found herself offering her skills for free, simply because she loved what she did. Encouraged by a friend in 2019 to pursue her dream full-time, she took a leap of faith and founded Agape Events.
Despite the slow start due to the pandemic, Sandy remained steadfast, trusting in God’s plan. Now, just a few years later, she is a full-time event planner, transforming client visions into reality with excellence and faith-driven service.
Agape has a deep meaning. Agape is “the highest form of love, charity” and “the love of God for human beings and of human beings for God. This is also the mission behind her brand. Bringing together her deep love and passion for creating an amazing experience for many of her clients that are celebrating their love. for each other.
