Kickin’ & Day Trippin’ took a scenic escape to the enchanting Oak Meadow Ranch in Valley View, Texas. Just an hour from Keller, TX, this hidden gem transported us to a world that felt far from home. We were thrilled to be invited to the launch of Dining with Divas Texas, a new TV show dedicated to celebrating local culture, cuisine, and creativity. Oak Meadow Ranch couldn’t have been a more perfect setting—it’s a stunning venue for events and an exclusive Airbnb resort. Here, you can stay in unique accommodations like a cozy covered wagon or a unique space among the giraffes. The Destination On A Mission

The vision for Oak Meadow Ranch grew slowly, sparked by the dreams of founders Allan and Renay Watt. Fondly known as the “Wall Street Cowboy,” Allan’s passion for cowboy-mounted shooting and cooking over open flames with his wife, Renay, inspired their shared dream of creating a western-style haven. In 2013, they purchased 50 acres of tranquil Texas countryside, transforming it into a rustic yet luxurious space for celebrations and gatherings.

In January 2016, Renay unexpectedly passed away. Her love for animals, dedication to the ranch, and unbreakable spirit remain the heart of Oak Meadow Ranch. Her family carried her vision forward, opening the ranch in January 2017. The result is a place filled with warmth, surrounded by the peaceful country landscape that Renay cherished, where no detail was overlooked.

Oak Meadow Ranch is more than just a venue; it’s a working ranch dedicated to reconnecting guests with wildlife and supporting conservation efforts. We had a great time attending the launch of DIning With Divas Texas at this amazing venue. Throughout the evening, guests were treated to a plethora of photo opportunities that truly captured the magic of the space while also supporting local vendors that showcased throughout the night.
